Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit General Secretary Suresh Reddy alleged that Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu tried to create differences between the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu is resorting to spread false propaganda with the non-bailable warrant to gain political mileage before the Telangana Assembly elections, he remarked. The public is paying attention to Chandrababu's lies against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah, he added.

Official spokesperson of the BJP Kota Sai Krishna said that the case against Chandrababu was filed during Congress regime in 2010 and that his criticism against the BJP for the warrant were illogical. He observed that the Court issued notices after Chandrababu failed to attend the Court on 22 occasions.

The BJP leaders predicted that going by the anti-TDP mood found in the recent surveys, the TDP would not even get 20 seats in the Assembly polls. "A difference of 5 to 6 per cent vote share was found in the surveys. In the coming days, there is a greater chance for growing anti-incumbency against the TDP government, which is neck-deep in rampant corruption.
