TDP Corporators From Vijayawada Caught In Rampachodavaram Rave Party

Vijayawada: A group of Corporators from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) were caught in a rave party at Rampachodavaram in East Godavari district on Sunday. According to reports, one of the members from among the corporators, a key member of the Committee on VMC road safety, is said to be a highly influential person and had even invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to his house once. The police caught hold of TDP Corporators in the party, leading to widespread criticism across Vijayawada. Another Corporator, who is the President of the Vijayawada City Development Committee, was also caught by the police.

"The TDP leaders always spend time in clubs and parties, completely ignoring the public issues," a Vijayawada resident said. According to party sources, the corporators left for Rampachodavaram in five cars. They skipped last week's division level meetings, it is learnt. A corporator from Besant Road, a commercial hub in the city, had also been nabbed by the police.
