Paritala Sunitha Puts TDP In A Spot

Amaravati: The Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) trickery on the waiving of loans to the rural women through the Development Of Women And Children In Rural Areas (DWCRA) was admitted by minister Paritala Sunitha. In a reply to the YSRCP MLAs' questions posed in a letter format on the loan waiver, TDP minister Paritala Sunitha wrote in reply, that the loans given to the DWCRA women were not waived by the government.

"No loans were waived by the government, from 2014-15 to 2017-18. With respect to the outstanding loans of Rs 11,069.40 crore, no kind of loan waiver was given," the minister said in the letter.

Asked whether the government had any plans or proposals to waive the loans off, minister Sunitha said that no proposals were made by the government. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu continues to lie in his public meetings, that all the DWCRA loans have been waived.
