Tirupati: YSR Congress party (YSRCP) MLA RK Roja lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for decieving the farmer community over loan waivers.

Speaking to media here today, Roja said that Chandrababu Naidu lied on farm loan waivers during the 2014 elections only to gain political benefit from it. He demanded that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government take responsibilty for the suicide of a farmer couple in Thummalabeedu Village in Aluru Mandal in Kurnool district.

On Tuesday, Ramaiah and his wife committed suicide by consuming pesticide following harassment of bank officers over repayment of the farm loan.

Roja said that Crores of farmers were cheated by Chandrababu's election promises. Adding that in the last four years of Chandrababu rule, the factories in Chittoor, Renigunta, and the Vijaya Dairy Factory were shut down, the YSRCP leader said that Chandrababu was trying to destroy the lives of thousands of workers in the Tirupati RTC Garrage, which gained a good reputation for its quality, by shifting the Garrage to other districts.

The MLA promised that YSRCP would stand by the RTC workers. She added that the TDP government was doing injustice to all sections of the society.
