Anantapur: YSR Congress Party Rapthadu constituency coordinator Topudurti Prakash Reddy severely criticised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and said that the AP CM had done nothing for Anantapur district. Chandrababu had promised to complete the Handreeniva project within one year of TDP coming to power, but till date nothing had happened, he said.

The YSRCP leader said the lifting for water into Peruru dam was nothing but an election stunt. He reminded that it was only due to late Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy that Krishna river waters had come to Anantapur district. Why wasn't the water sent to the basin of the project despite Handreeniva water being available for the last six years, he demanded to know.

Prakash Reddy the TDP chief was afraid of the Central government foisting cases against him. He demanded that the AP CM responds to Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu's comments on Kapu reservations. "Why didn't the TDP achieve reservations while it was in alliance with BJP?"

Mudragada should fight along with all the parties for the removal of cap on reservations at 50 per cent, he added.
