AP Govt Delayed Polavaram For Commissions: Botsa

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana severely criticised the corruption in Polavaram project. Speaking to media here today, he said that the Polavaram project was being delayed due to the negligence of state government. He remarked that Polavaram was put aside for the sake of Pattiseema project.

Botsa demanded to know if either the Central or State government had any sincerity towards completing the projects. It is the responsibility of the state government to explain to people as why there was a change in DPR. "Only for commission amount did Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu delay the project," he said.

It's clear that the project has been hit by corruption and Gadkari's visit proved this once again, he said. He said it was time both TDP and BJP stopped staging dramas. The Central government should issue a deadline for the completion of Polavaram project, he added.
