Karimnagar: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu completely ignored the interests of the state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Muralidhar Rao said. The BJP is readying itself comprehensively for the upcoming general elections, he said. Congress party's loss in the Karnataka Assembly elections is the penultimate stage of their wipe out from the country, he criticized.

Speaking to the media here on Sunday, he accused the Congress party of supporting terrorists and separatists. The Congress party does not have a strong footing in the southern states, he remarked. Their loss in Karnataka will have a major influence in Telangana, he said.

In the 2019 elections, we will take the issue of separatism into the public domain, the BJP leader said. The Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) is a subsidiary to the Congress, supporting TRS will mean backing the Congress, he alleged. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was formed by late former Chief Minister NTR as an anti-Congress setup, but Chandrababu chose to insult NTR by meeting Congress President Rahul Gandhi, he criticized. The Chandrababu-Rahul Gandhi meeting is a matter of humiliation for the people of Andhra Pradesh, he commented.

BJP will issue a chargesheet against the failures of the TRS, which has now become synonymous with unemployment, he noted. We will take the TRS's failure in delivering its poll promises into the public, and its misuse of funds allocated by the Centre, he added.
