Anchor Pradeep Goes Absconding After Drunk Driving Fiasco
Hyderabad: Actor and 'Konchem Touch Lo Vunte' TV program fame anchor Machiraju Pradeep has reportedly gone absconding after being booked for drunken driving on the New Year day.
The anchor was caught driving his expensive BMW car (TS 07 EU 6666) in an inebriated condition with a girl sitting beside him at around 3am on Monday after a full night's New Year Eve party at Road No. 10, Jubilee Hills. The Jubilee Hills Traffic Police seized his car and booked a drunk driving case against the anchor. His Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) level at the time was 178/ml/mg which is far beyond the permissible 30/ml/mg of BAC and is considered highly dangerous.
The police in drunk driving cases call the accused for a counselling session along with family members. As Pradeep was caught with a girl, he landed in big soup. His car glasses are fully covered with a black film which again is an offence under traffic rules.
As Pradeep did not turn up for counseling for three days, police went to his house in Aditya Fort View community at Manikonda. The house was locked and nobody could give any information about his whereabouts. Police found that he was not seen by anyone in the neighborhood after the incident.
