Anam's family get three tickets from Congress

Congress party may have framed a rule ‘only one ticket in a family’, but it seems the rule is applicable to only few leaders.  

Three family members of former finance minister Anam Ram Narayan Reddy got tickets to contest in the assembly elections this time.

Anam is the party candidate to contest in the elections from Atmakur constituency. His brother Anam Vivekananda Reddy is away from elections this time due to poor health. However, his son Anam Chenchu Subba Reddy may contest from Nellore city constituency.

Anam Vijay Kumar Reddy, one of Anam brothers, is now the party candidate from Nellore rural constituency. Anam’s family has grip in all the villages that fall under the constituency and thus Anam duo decided to field Vijay Kumar Reddy from this constituency.

However, Congress high command has violated the rule of ‘Only one ticket in a family’ in some other cases too in the state.
