Ambulance Made To Wait For 20 Mins For Chandrababu’s Convoy, Video Goes Viral

VIP beacons may have gone, but VIP dadagiri is still not just alive, but kicking too in Andhra Pradesh. The VIP in question is none other than Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. His convoy made an ambulance, carrying a patient, wait for 20 minutes. It could move only after the Chief Ministerial convoy passed.

The incident occurred in Kakinada on June 8 and a video shot and uploaded by a local youth showing the ambulance waiting for Chandrababu Naidu to pass, went viral and netizens slammed him for causing inconvenience to the people, especially the patient.

On June 8, Chandrababu Naidu was in Kakinada to take part in Nava Nirmana Sankalpa Deeksha Sabha. Due to this, the police blocked traffic to ensure free passage to him. Despite the pleading of the relatives of the patient, the ambulance was made to wait.

Netizens have criticised the Government and the police for not allowing the ambulance to pass. "Ambulance is first priority world over," many said.
