Amala gets special preview of new film as surprise

Director Sekhar Kammula arranged a special viewing of Amala Akkineni's new film, Life is beautiful as a surprise for her on her 44th birthday.

Amala, Tollywood superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna's wife, who  turns 44 today, was thrilled with the director's gesture.
Amala married Nagarjuna in 1992 and  the couple have an 18 year-old  son, Akhil. Born Amala Mukherjee, she changed her name to Amala Akkineni following her marriage to the popular Telugu film star.

Amala Akkineni is making her comeback  to films with ‘Life is beautiful’ after a long gap of 20 years. She quit acting after her marriage to Nagarjuna. Amala is a strong promoter of vegetarianism, an active animal rights' activist and oversees activities of  The Blue Cross.
