AIIMS will be established in Vijayawada : Kamineni

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas said that they would establish All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Vijayawada.

Speaking to reporters in Vijayawada on Monday, he said that a central team would visit Vijayawada within next three days to inspect the proposed land for establishing the key institute in the coastal city.

He announced that they are releasing an amount of Rs.12 crores for the institute.

The minister said that they would convert Vijayawada into a medical hub city.
