Although scores of Telugu movies released this year, yet SS Rajamouli's Baahubali takes the cake. Now, most films under production have been lined up for release next year-either for Sankranti or in Summer.

Power star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi is the first film to release next year. And the audience are betting big on this film given the fact that the film is being helmed by Matala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas.

Agnyaathavaasi also marks the 25th film of the Tollywood powerstar and the third collaboration between the actor and the director. Nandamuri Balakrishna Jaisimha too is hitting the screens on Sankranti. It's worth mentioning here that all his previous ventures including Legend which released around the festive season did well at the box office.

Post Baahubali 2, All eyes are on Prabhas' next film Saaho which is slated for release next year. The film unit is currently canning some high-octane action sequences in Dubai.

Ram Charan's Rangasthalam 1985 is scheduled to release next year. The exact release date of the film is yet to be known. The film is likely to release in February or March when there is no competition from other big star movies. The movie was supposed to release in the month of January but the makers pulled out to avoid box office clash with Pawan's Agnyaathavaasi. They also planned a summer release, but most makers have locked their release dates around that time.

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Bharath Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India are all set to hit the screens on April 27, 2018. None of the stars seem to be wanting to step out of the race. But both the films will have to battle dubbed version of Rajinikanth's 2.0. Both Mahesh and Bunny will be seen in a never before seen avatar in these movies. While mahesh plays a politcian for the first time Allu Arjun will be seen in the role of a soldier.

Now, with so many movies of big stars lined up for release next year, it remains to be seen which one will come close to Baahubali in terms of collections. watch this space for all reviews, box office collections, and latest updates.
