After a recent Ransomeware attack on Microsoft Windows, a new malware with the name 'Judy' hit more than 36 million Android users.

According to a security research firm — 'Check Point', the Judy malware had first informed Google about its attack. Although, Google has been removing the infected applications from its Play Store, the malware affected 4.5 million downloads.

Judy Malware, which is essentially an 'auto-clicking adware', is learnt to have been created by a South Korean firm named Kiniwini.

The malware was initially developed to make money by auto-clicking on online advertisements. The malware has thrown a challenge to Google by operating on its Play Store undetected for more than a year now.
