Vijayawada: Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly — YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will soon embark on 'Dalit Garjana', after completion of the historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

YSRCP SC Cell President Meruga Nagarjuna, YSRCP MLA Adhimoolapu Suresh and party spokesperson Sudhakar Babu spoke to media persons here on Tuesday.

"The YSRCP Co-ordination Committee completed its study on the plight of Dalits in Andhra Pradesh state. Problems of Schedule Castes have been taken into consideration during the committee's meeting," Nagarjuna said.

Stating that the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had fought for the welfare of Dalits, the YSRCP leader said that the current TDP regime dealt a death blow to farmers and Dalits in the state.

"Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has lost the right to seek votes from the people. Why the Chief Minister has chosen to take up programme - 'Dalita Tejam'?" he questioned.

YSRCP Co-ordination committee discussed several issues and problems of Dalits in the state. The YSRCP leaders said that YS Jagan's Navaratna schemes which would benefit all sections of the society, will be highlighted in the state.
