ACB gets five-day custody of Ripunjaya Reddy

The Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Saturday took into custody the APPSC member Ripunjaya Reddy in connection with the disproportionate assets case, from Cherlapalli Jail.

The ACB court had granted a five-day custody of Ripunjaya following a petition filed by the ACB to question him in the illegal assets case which amounted to Rs. four crore. The officials shifted the accused to the ACB office for interrogation.

The court directed the ACB to question him from 10 am to 5 pm in the presence of his lawyer.

The ACB last Wednesday had arrested him following raids at his residences.
