7 Die In Two Different Road Accidents
Warangal/West Godavari: Two ghastly road accidents that occurred in Warangal and West Godavari districts claimed 7 lives on Thursday.
In one incident that took place at Gollapally village in Ghanapur mandal of Warangal district on Thursday afternoon, two bikes rammed into each other and three persons died at the spot and another person, who was severely injured, has been shifted to a nearby hospital where his condition is said to be serious. Police reached the spot and the bodies were sent for post-mortem.
In another mishap, four members of a family - a couple and their two children died when the auto they were traveling in rammed into a truck loaded with gas cylinders. The gory accident took place at Sitampet village of Kovvuru mandal of West Godavari. Five other passengers also received serious injuries in the mishap.
The ill-fated family belongs to Kothapet of East Godavari district and was on their way to participate in ‘Mary Matha’ celebrations at Gouripatnam in Devarapally mandal of West Godavari district. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
