65-Yr-Old Sorcerer Held For Marrying 18-Year-old Girl

Hyderabad: A 65-year-old man has been arrested for marrying an 18-year-old girl after influencing her under black magic on Monday. Syed Abbas Peer Quadri, a resident of Ahmed Nagar in Bandlaguda area in the city, promised to treat the girl who was suffering from a thyroid problem.

The victim met him seeking treatment for her problem due to which her marriage was about to be cancelled as the groom knew her medical condition.

Taking advantage of the girl's condition, the accused allegedly performed black magic on her in the name of treatment. The girl left her home on March 6 and reached Quadri's house. The accused married the girl, who was totally under his control.

When the girl was missing on March 6, her family lodged a complaint with the police. During the investigation, Chandrayanagutta police traced the girl in Quadri's house where he already has two wives.

Investigation revealed that Quadri took the girl to Mumbai and married her at a religious place after producing fake documents to show different identities of himself and the girl.

Police registered a case and took him into custody.
