6 women of same village killed in accident

Six women died, and eight others were injured, three of them seriously, when the tractor in which they were traveling fell into the Nagarjuna Sagar left canal near Nidamanuru mandal in Nalgonda District on Wednesday, the police said.

The injured have been shifted to Miryalaguda hospital. The victims, all from the same village, were returning to Borripalem village in Tripurapuram mandal  when the mishap took place.

On hearing the news, the village was plunged into grief as all victims belonged to the same village.
