6 Passengers Given Sedatives, Looted Aboard Yeswanthpur - Lucknow Express

Warangal: Six passengers aboard Yeswanthpur - Lucknow express were looted by unidentified assailants on Tuesday.

According to the police, the incident took place when the train was heading from Allahabad to Yeswanthpur.

The burglars robbed the victims off their money and gold ornaments by giving sedatives to them. The passengers regained consciousness only when the train arrived at Kazipet railway station, where they lodged a complaint with the Railway police.

Based on the complaint, a case has been registered and a manhunt was launched. The victims were admitted to Mahathma Gandhi Memorial Hospital at Warangal.
