6 Dacoits Nabbed In Muthoot Robbery Case 

Hyderabad: In sensational Muthoot Finance robbery case, Cyberabad police on Tuesday arrested six dacoits in Gulbarga in Karnataka when they were trying to flee to Mumbai.

The arrest of the six hardcore dacoits is kept confidential as the interrogation was going on. The Commissioner of Cyberabad police Sandeep Sandilya is reportedly supervising the interrogation before the thieves will be produced before a court.

It may be recalled that the dacoit gang made off with 42kg of gold jewellery from Muthoot Finance’s Beeramguda branch at Ramachandrapuram on city’s western fringes at gunpoint on Wednesday. They posed as CBI officials to force the employees of the finance company open the lockers.

Just like any daredevil robbery scene in a movie, the armed gang executed the dacoity in a broad daylight in flat 20 minutes. Packing the gold jewellery, the gang sped away in a black Scorpio they drove in.

The dacoits left no clue and could easily cross the state border. They were planning to flee to Mumbai as it would be difficult for the police to nab them once they mingle in the crowds of the city.

Police are expected to reveal more details about the recovery of the stolen property.
