3 From Bihar Held In Eamcet-2 Paper Leak

Hyderabad: Three persons in connection with Eamcet-2 question paper leak were arrested on Monday by the CID officials. The accused Shrutikesh Kumar (39), Ajay Kumar Sinha (44), and Rajesh Kumar (36) are natives of Bihar.

The officials said that Shrutikesh took seven students through an agent and took them to Kolkata for a preparation camp and gave the answer keys. Similarly, Ajay took seven students through his agent Rajesh and four others from agent Dharmender and sent them to preparation camp in Kolkata.

Officials said that Shrutikesh is a government veterinary doctor at Ghoshwari Village in Patna district, Ajay, a realtor, and Rajesh, an employee of a PSU bank.

Eamcet-2 was conducted on July 9 by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and the results were declared on July 14.

On July 25, CID had registered a case under relevant sections of IPC and other provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Public Examinations (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair means) Act, 1997 (which also covers Telangana post-division).
