3 cops suspended after auto driver creates ruckus in police station

On Tuesday, a drunken autorickshaw driver was brought to the police station in connection with a crime. The auto driver flew into a rage, held the SI by his collar and shoved the constable.

Hyderabad: Taking a serious view of the ruckus created by an auto driver and the utter inaction of the three police persons on duty at Bhavani Nagar Police Station in the Old City, City Commissioner of Police CP Mahender Reddy issued orders to keep SI Prasada Rao and constable Kiran Kumar in Vacancy Reserve (VR). CP issued orders to this effect.

On Tuesday, a drunken autorickshaw driver was brought to the police station in connection with a crime. The auto driver flew into a rage, held the SI by his collar and shoved the constable.

Though there were three personnel in the police station, they did not deal with the errant auto driver sternly. DCP (West Zone) said that the culprits would be punished and no one would be spared despite pressures.
