3 arrested for killing married woman

Hyderabad: Three persons were arrested for killing a woman at Mylardevpally in the city on Thursday. The woman was the sister-in-law of one of the accused who developed grudge over her as he suspected that she forced her husband away from the family.

Deceased Shabana Begum who belongs to Patna in Bihar had married Nasir Khan and took divorce with him after 10 years. The divorcee who was having three children, married to Sheik Imtiyaz Khan (29) and the couple was staying at Mylardevpally.

Without informing his family Imtiyaz married Shabana and left the parents to fend for themselves. One of his brothers Sheik Amir Ali who had planned to kill her with the help of his friends stabbed her to death at her home on Tuesday.

On the complaint from Imtiyaz, Amir and his accomplices confessed before the police and the accused had been sent to remand.
