24/7 call centre for police services from Ugadi

A full-fledged call centre for police department will be in service from April 11.

The highly sophisticated call centre is designed to receive complaints and rush the police teams in minutes to the spot. The call centre which will work 24/7 will envisage registration of FIRs through online and toll-free No.100 will be brought to the people on the lines of 911 in America. The call centre is totally different from the present control room number 100, said the police officials. Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will inaugurate the call centre on the day of Telugu Ugadi on April 11.
