2 women cops battle it out for one man, get suspended

Guntur: Guntur Superintendent of Police PHD Ramakrishna on Wednesday suspended two woman constables for fighting near Pattabhipuram police station in Guntur.

As per reports, Wesley, husband of Ramavath Sridevi, head constable, was having an extra-marital affair with another constable Vijayalaksmi at Pattabhipuram police station in Guntur. As a result, Sridevi and her mother protested in front of the women police station in the town.She also alleged that her husband was neglecting their children.Previously, also there was a fight between Vijayalakshmi and Sridevi.

On Tuesday, Sridevi caught her husband Wesly red-handed with Vijayalaksmi in tow near the police station. She and the locals thrashed the duo. Vijayalakhmi was injured in the incident was rushed to hospital for treatment. The police took Wesly into custody and registered a case against Sridevi.

Meanwhile, SP Ramakrishna suspended both constables.
