2 People Held For Running IPL Betting Racket

Hyderabad: Two persons were arrested on Friday for allegedly operating a cricket betting racket from a premises in Afzalgunj area here. Police seized Rs3.84 lakh from them.
G Upadhya and Sandeep Tak, along with two other absconding accused, were allegedly accepting bets for the ongoing IPL matches, police said. Based on an information a team of the Commissioner's Task Force raided the premises on Friday and nabbed the duo.
