2 Indian Mujahideen terrorists brought in to Hyd

Two terrorists of Indian Mujahideen (IM) who were lodged in Tihar Jail in New Delhi were brought in to Hyderabad for questioning in connection with the Dilshuknagar twin blast case.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had sought the court to hand over for police custody the two alleged operatives. The court allowed for police custody for five days to interrogate them in connection with February 21st twin blasts in Hyderabad, which claimed 16 lives and injured more than 130 people.

It may be recalled that the IM terrorists Syed Maqbool and Imran Khan were arrested in  connection with Pune blast that took place in August, 2012.The NIA has to unearth information about the modules that worked behind the  blasts.

The investigations so far revealed Pakistan-based IM-founder Riyaz Bhatkal and  his brother were behind the terror attack and about a hawala transaction of Rs 2 lakh  has been taken place from Dubai's industrial area to Dilshuknagar two days before the blasts. The blasts in Hyderabad were triggered by IEDs planted near Konark and Venkatadiri theaters in Dilsukhnagar. The NIA is believed to be pinned hopes on the two IM operatives to get information which is need of the hour to crack the blast case.
