2 Friends Washed Away In River While Taking Selfie

Warangal: Two friends died after they fell into Bayyaram river while taking a selfie in Mahabubabad on Thursday.

Prem Bharath and Jayaraj, who came to home on Diwali vacation went to the river along with their friends and sisters. The two were taking a selfie when Prem accidentally slipped into the river. Jayaraj, who went to save his friend was also swept away by the stream.

Other friends also tried to save them but in vain. Prem Bharath was pursuing Diploma first year and Jayaraj was running a mess at Khazipet. The two were childhood friends.

The police fished out the Jayaraj’s body and the body of Prem Bharath is yet to be recovered.
