Six Men Sexually Exploit 16-Year-Old On Promise Of Providing Cinema Chance
Hyderabad: Six persons have been booked for rape for sexually exploiting a 16-year-old girl who left her grandmother's house at Banjara Hills on December 3 to try her luck in Tollywood. Four of the accused have been arrested, while two are absconding.
The girl first landed at Mahbubnagar where she spent a day with one G. Navin Kumar (19); came back to city and met Santosh at a cine complex who took her to meet his friends - assistant director Sheikh Akbar (21), production assistant Venka Reddy (22), lyricist N. Papa Rao alias Ganesh (31), who all allegedly exploited her for 10 days with a promise of a movie role. She then turned up at Secunderabad station where a bag seller, Qamar, too raped her. In total, the girl was raped by six men at different places over three weeks.
On the family's complaint, cops tracked her down and on the account of the girl filed a rape case.
