14 Held For Illegal Bike Racing In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A total of 14 people were arrested on Wednesday who allegedly held bike-racing at Rajendra Nagar in the city.

According to the police, the bikers were threatening the public on road by their rash driving. "The bikers try to imitate the races depicted in popular movies centered on illegal street racing," a police officer said. "The event could have taken a fatal turn if the high-speed vehicles had crashed," the officer added.

The police informed the bikers’ parents of their arrest to ensure that such incidents are not repeated. They also seized the bikes and sent the accused to remand.
