108 feet Lord Venkateswara statue to be installed in Mauritius

Mauritius will soon have a giant statue of Lord Venkateswara. The 108 feet statue will be installed in the country.

Speaking to mediapersons at Tirumala this morning, Chairman of Harihara Devasthanam and Cabinet OSD, Parthasaradhi, said that the statue would be installed in December after performing Kumbhabhishekam there.

He visited the Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala with the Cabinet Secretary of Mauritius Suresh Chandra this morning. Both have visited Vedic School at Tirumala. They have informed that they are going to start such a school in Mauritius too.
