10-km-long Traffic Jam on Highway in Nizamabad District as Truck Hits Bridge Railing

Nizamabad: A loaded truck narrowly missed a major accident as it crashed into railing of a bridge in Madnoor mandal, Nizambad district. The hanging truck on the bridge caused huge traffic jam to the extent of 10km on Saturday.

The speeding lorry lost control and hung perilously off the bridge on Saturday morning. The incident on National Highway at Pedda Eclaram. Vehicles in large numbers got stuck in the traffic jam.

Police immediately got into rescue operation and removed the truck using a crane. Truck driver and cleaner are unhurt in the accident. Police said over-speeding was the reason for the accident.
