1 dead, 10 injured after bus catches fire in Bowenpally

Hyderabad: One person was charred to death and as many as 10 were injured when an RTC bus caught fire in Bowenpally in the wee hours of Tuesday.

As per reports, fire broke out when an RTC bus was hit by a DCM van at Bowenpally. The passengers in bus immediately jumped out of the bus immediately to save their lives, but driver who got struck in his cabin, was charred to death. Fire teams reached the spot on receiving the information and put out the fires.

There were 52 passengers in the bus when the incident occurred, police official said. Police registered a case and took up investigations.
