Silpa Chakrapani Reddy’s Resignation Accepted
Amaravati: The secretary of the Andhra Pradesh legislative Council has accepted the resignation of Silpa Chakrapani Reddy from the MLC post. Silpa, who won on a TDP ticket, has recently joined the YSRCP ahead of Nandyal elections.
In keeping with the high ethical traditions of the YSRCP and under the directions of party chief YS jagan Mohan Reddy, he had tendered his resignation in the Speaker Forgat. Within 10 days, his resignation has been accepted. Silpa Chakrapani resigned after his brother Silpa Mohan Reddy became YSRCP candidate in Nandyal byelections.
His action is contrary to the turncoat MLAs from YSRCP, who have joined the TDP. Not only have they not resigned, the complaints against them are still pending action. Some of them have gone on to become ministers.
