Drunk Students Attack Techie At Saroornagar

Hyderabad: A software engineer was attacked by a group of students at Saroornagar after he asked the students to allow him to pass as they blocked the road to celebrate a birthday party on Sunday night.

Ram Reddy, a resident of Srinagar Colony was on his way to home when a group of youths blocked the road to celebrate one of their birthday. Unable to drive his car, the techie asked the boys to allow to his car to pass. The students, who were in inebriated state picked an argument with Reddy and then attacked him.

They pelted stones at Reddy's car and when they saw him injured, the students fled the spot.

The victim then lodged a complaint with the police and a case was registered against the students. Based on the CCTV footage, the attackers will be nabbed soon, Saroornagar SI N. Jayaram said.
