Cheetah Mauls 7-Year-Old Child

Bahraich (Uttar Pradesh): A tragedy struck in Bahraich district after a seven-year-old boy died after a Cheetah attack on Saturday. Sanjay was asleep outside his house when the animal pounced upon him and dragged him away into the forest. The panic struck parents approached the police officials.

The police during the investigation found the boy's body at the back of a school which falls under a forest area. The officials who saw the animals footprints came to conclusion that the boy was killed by the cheetah. The angry villagers staged a dharna saying that the forest officials are not taking any measures to curb the animal depredations.
